13th June - The photographers friend
There are times when you just have to give credit to your 'assistants'. Those that come out at all times, not sure why, when they could be sleeping their beds. It's a tough job being a four legged helper. You think you're in luck with an extra walk and no sooner than it gets interesting your companion just stops and gets out the metal stick thing and just looks...

It could be a beach - that's good for a sneak swim behind his back. It could also be the woods - which are great for finding sticks. This field is also pretty good you can find pheasants having little a sleep until they jump up in the air. (However she never gets close enough to catch one.)

What is clear though is that my assistant has learnt to wait really well. Usually a few yards away - just to keep the wider perspective she'll stand wait and look while I'll play cameras. I'm pretty sure she can tell when I'm putting it all away again and loves it to move on to the next stop.

And the worst bit for her - when she thinks we're going back to the car and there's just one more...
