Having had quite a few thoughts about the iphone in photography there is one use of it that I really find helpful:

I'm a Lightroom user and when ever I'm out with the 'big' camera I take one or two images on Lightroom on my mobile. (Long exposures are a great time for this) The phone and the image it makes have the location recorded. By using Lightroom the image will sync to be alongside those from the camera's card and then it's an easy matter to cut & paste the geocode to the camera madeĀ images in Lightroom when back on the laptop. This is reason for me just to have Lightroom on by mobile and I find it invaluable in my cataloguing.

I'm sure there are other uses but this is my favorite.
