23rd May Staverton, Suffolk
I'm pretty sure I once heard the advice that after you've rushed home with a camera full of keepers (or so you think) it's better to leave them for a few days to 'mature'. For me that usually means hitting the reality that they might actually not be anywhere as good as I think. It's the same with locations I think, however these woods in Suffolk are rapidly growing on me. I went a few times in the winter but now the leaves have come out the fresh vivid greens and wild complicated trunks are rapidly growing on me if you'll excuse the pun. Perhaps it's because green is supposed to be a relaxing colour, perhaps the wood exudes peace and calmness - (especially in light rain)! Either way this wood is fast becoming my new favourite place.
