The Deben River, a place of boats, saltmarshes and mists is often a place of beauty and tranquillity. These images picture this through scenes of calm and reflection.

There is something in minimalist images that has an air of simplicity but you know there's a lot of work gone into it and the nature of the images, often with long exposures ensures each one is unique.

This for me is a new project for 2022. I've become really interested in this fairly small dense piece of ancient woodland and the opportunities if offers for a range of landscape photographic styles.
